Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Go.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write idiomatic Go code using standard language paradigms and constructs.
• Design and implement microservices architectures.
• Manage data persistence and caching using distributed databases and memory stores.
• Integrate distributed messaging systems for asynchronous communication.
• Manage deployments and configurations via CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Go programming language, idioms, and constructs.
• Strong understanding of Microservices concepts.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
• Proficiency with databases including MySQL or Cassandra.
• Experience with search and indexing tools like Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with caching layers like Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with Gitlab and Jenkins for deployment and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
