Description

Senior backend engineer owning high-performance service development in an enterprise agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive APIs using Go.
• Develop backend services leveraging AWS serverless technologies including Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
• Collaborate with product owners to define application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through to deployment.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality and automation standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total senior software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of professional development experience specifically with Go.
• 3+ years of experience with Java or other backend programming languages.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Cloud, specifically serverless solutions like Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
• Proven experience in end-to-end API development.
• Strong backend development expertise, with work focused 90-100% on the backend.
• Experience working within an enterprise agile environment.
• Ability to work remotely within EST or CST time zones.
