Description

You will lead the design and implementation of Google Cloud Platform infrastructures, focusing on enterprise-grade landing zones.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi-tenant landing zones with resource isolation and governance.
• Architect VPC topologies, hybrid connectivity, and secure ingress/egress traffic.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security hardening including encryption, DDoS protection, and VPC Service Controls.
• Manage cost governance through billing account management and resource optimization.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years of experience architecting GCP environments at scale.
• Experience deploying production landing zones with 10+ projects.
• Hands-on experience managing 100+ VPCs and subnets.
• Mastery of GCP networking stack including VPC, Cloud Router, Load Balancers, and Traffic Director.
• Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience debugging L3/L4 network issues such as MTU mismatches and NAT traversal.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with hybrid connectivity and securing multi-cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Network Engineer, or Security Engineer certifications.
• HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate.
