Description

You will design and lead complex cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams through complex infrastructure deployments.
• Design cloud-native application architectures using microservices and containerization.
• Troubleshoot and tune performance of complex distributed systems.
• Implement cloud security principles, including encryption and identity management.
• Present technical strategies and project updates to senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in GCP services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of security compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
