Description

You will design and architect enterprise-level solutions on Google Cloud Platform to meet business requirements and scalability needs.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed architectural blueprints for complex cloud environments, including hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
• Lead cloud migrations, modernizations, and greenfield implementations from inception to completion.
• Guide the selection and implementation of GCP services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Monitor and optimize GCP environments for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud architecture and development.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• At least 5 years of direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in GCP services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, encryption, identity management, and compliance standards like GDPR or HIPAA.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and present complex solutions to senior leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, or DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitOps.
• Background in data engineering, analytics, or machine learning on GCP.
