Description

You will design, deploy, and manage cloud-native solutions on GCP using SUSE technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Manager, and SUSE Rancher in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Automate system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, or Python.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, specifically Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and SUSE Rancher.
• Administer cloud networking, including VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Interconnect.
• Lead migration projects from on-premises or other cloud providers to GCP while optimizing performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, with at least 3 years specialized in GCP.
• Deep knowledge of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLEs), SUSE Manager, and SUSE Rancher.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment Manager.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications using Docker, GKE, SUSE Rancher, Istio, or Anthos.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Scripting expertise in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Datadog, or ELK.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting and optimizing SAP workloads on SUSE Linux within GCP environments.
