Description

You will design, deploy, and operate production systems on Google Cloud Platform, owning the release pipeline and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to support infrastructure and application delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and script automation in Python or Go to ensure environment consistency and reliability.
• Operate core GCP services including GCS, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, GKE, and VPC networking with a focus on security and least privilege.
• Define and monitor SLOs, manage error budgets, and lead incident response to ensure system reliability and graceful degradation.
• Conduct code and design reviews to enforce maintainability, security standards, and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience designing and supporting production systems in the cloud.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services: GCS, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud SQL, IAM, and VPC.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting languages (Python or Go).
• Experience building CI/CD workflows with tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of security fundamentals: encryption, secrets management, secure service-to-service communication, and patch hygiene.
• Strong grasp of reliability engineering: SLOs, error budgets, backups, restore drills, and capacity planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
