Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Graph Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale graph solutions. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, graph technology, and AI — integrating graph models with large language models for GraphRAG and semantic search applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design graph models and ontologies for complex business data domains
• Build and maintain production-grade graphs on AWS Neptune or Neo4j
• Develop batch and streaming data pipelines to ingest and manage graph data
• Write and optimize Cypher, Gremlin, or SPARQL queries for performance
• Integrate graph systems with LLMs to enable GraphRAG and semantic search
• Mentor engineers and establish graph engineering standards and best practices

Required Skills

• 12-15 years in data engineering, including 3+ years with production graph systems
• Hands-on expertise with AWS Neptune or Neo4j
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java
• Experience with AWS data services
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, or Airflow for pipeline orchestration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of RDF/OWL and graph algorithms
• Experience with LangChain or vector databases
• AWS or Neo4j certifications
