Description

You will design, develop, and maintain the Guidewire platform to meet specific business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze high-level system specifications and use cases to create low-level design plans.
• Develop moderate to complex software solutions following established I/S standards and internal controls.
• Identify system dependencies and evaluate the impact of proposed changes on supporting applications.
• Provide technical documentation for design decisions, code modules, and performance metrics.
• Recommend improvements to system performance, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Guidewire InsuranceNow applications.
• Strong proficiency in JAVA programming.
• Extensive experience with MySQL and writing stored procedures.
• Experience working with XML and HTML.
• Proven ability to handle application development, including databases, desktop, and web applications.
• Experience with data integration projects.
• Ability to manage projects and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of information technology applications within the insurance industry.
