Description

You will own the technical development and testing of big data applications within an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and test code for assigned applications, dedicating approximately 80% of your time to development.
• Drive consistent development practices and collaborate with peers during product and platform releases.
• Maintain application availability through continuous support and troubleshooting.
• Develop technical understanding of financial domain systems and platform integrations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with hands-on Big Data expertise.
• Proficiency in Java, including Core Java concepts like Collections, multithreading, and advanced features.
• Experience with Hive, Hadoop, Spring Boot, and API development.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and familiarity with design patterns.
• Advanced SQL skills for executing complex queries and data extraction.
• Experience using GitHub for configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot using Splunk and other error-handling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
