Description

You will own the technical execution, optimization, and automation of the SAP HANA database environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort and lower Total Cost of Ownership.
• Monitor and tune HANA system performance, including query optimization and resource management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to SAP HANA and Python code.
• Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 support teams and serve as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Own proof-of-concept initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Expertise in SAP HANA administration and database tuning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and developing backend services (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries for SAP HANA and Oracle.
• Experience developing data migration, replication, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, specifically Azure or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration and replication strategies.
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration alongside SAP HANA.
