You will manage HL7 requirements and messaging analysis to support and maintain immunization registry systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HL7 messages and coordinate activities to ensure compliance with Immunization Information System standards.
• Lead the response to meaningful use requirements and manage data submission testing processes.
• Maintain and upgrade immunization systems to meet evolving HL7 standards and policy changes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between state agencies, facilities, CDC, JPHIT, CMS, and ONC regarding immunization informatics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in an Information Technology environment.
• 6+ years of experience as an HL7 Analyst using industry project tools and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of HL7 messaging, specifically with VXU (Unsolicited Vaccination Record Update).
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL scripting.
• Advanced understanding of the SDLC and project management approaches for development and implementation.
• Thorough knowledge of enterprise security practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, management, and external vendors.
