Create instructional materials and Instructions for Use (IFUs) for combination products and drug delivery devices. This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
Create and update IFUs, reference guides, and carton artwork content, including layout and illustrations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Develop instruction design strategies and manage individual projects by coordinating with Human Factors, Device Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
Produce low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity digital prototypes for usability studies, including physical construction of structural cartons.
Maintain detailed history records to capture the rationale for changes throughout the development process.
Manage junior staff or external vendors to execute design work and troubleshoot complex design issues.
Required Skills
5-10 years of instruction design experience, specifically including IFUs.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Expertise in InDesign paragraph and character styles, and the application of grids and structures for platform consistency.
Strong proficiency in rapid sketch illustration, digital line-art illustration, and image editing.
3-5 years of experience managing design projects or teams.
Background in medical, healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
