Drive the development and optimization of open-source virtualization technologies, focusing on hypervisor performance, scalability, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug, profile, and optimize hypervisor performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community to improve hypervisor performance and security.
• Review and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Work closely with software, hardware, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in open-source software development with a focus on virtualization.
• Deep working knowledge of open-source hypervisors.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge with the ability to write and understand software code.
• Experience with VMware or Red Hat environments.
• Proven track record in virtualization technologies.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working in a product company such as VMware or Red Hat.
