You will design, implement, and optimize hypervisor code for integration into specific client ecosystems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hypervisor code based on real-world scenarios.
• Debug, profile, and optimize hypervisor performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community.
• Review and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and security teams for seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in open-source software development with a focus on virtualization.
• Direct experience coding at the kernel and firmware levels.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Working knowledge of open-source hypervisors.
• Ability to write and understand software code within an infrastructure context.
• Experience modifying open-source code to function within specific ecosystems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Professional experience at a product company such as VMware or RedHat.
• Experience with VMware technologies.
