Description

You will architect, configure, and integrate order orchestration solutions for DTC operations using IBM Sterling Order Management.

Responsibilities

• Customize Sterling DOM modules including sourcing, scheduling, and payments.
• Design new OMS components and microservices using Java/J2EE and REST/SOAP.
• Integrate OMS with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, WMS, and logistics systems via API/SOA architectures.
• Translate DTC backlog requirements into prioritized development tasks and implement updates.
• Optimize system performance and configure containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and on-call rotations for production systems.
• Mentor junior engineers in Sterling DOM best practices and integration strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with IBM Sterling DOM/OMS (version 10+).
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE including Servlets, EJB, and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, and XSL.
• Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and asynchronous messaging like MQ or JMS.
• Practical experience with SQL and database tuning.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and middleware such as WebSphere or MQ Series.
• Experience with containerized/cloud platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sterling DOM GEO-distributed environments and microservices.
• Background in WMS/YMS integrations or broader SCM suites.
• Certifications in IBM Sterling, Java, or cloud platforms.
