Description

Architect and integrate order orchestration solutions for DTC operations using IBM Sterling Order Management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Customize Sterling DOM modules for sourcing, scheduling, and payments.
• Design OMS components and microservices using Java/J2EE and REST/SOAP.
• Integrate OMS with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, WMS, and logistics systems via API/SOA.
• Optimize system performance and configure containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers in Sterling DOM best practices and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with IBM Sterling DOM/OMS (version 10+).
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, including Servlets, EJB, and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, and XSL.
• Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and asynchronous messaging (MQ or JMS).
• Practical experience with SQL and database tuning.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and middleware like WebSphere or MQ Series.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sterling DOM GEO-distributed environments and microservices.
• Background in WMS/YMS integrations or broader SCM suites.
