Description

You will design, develop, and maintain EDI applications on IBM i (AS/400) platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize solutions using RPG, ILE RPG, CL, IFS, SQL, and DB2.
• Integrate and maintain customer connections within the ISIS ERP system.
• Implement and support 3PL Distribution Center warehouse integrations.
• Ensure seamless EDI process integration across customers, partners, and logistics providers.
• Troubleshoot production systems, perform root cause analysis, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IBM i / AS/400 / iSeries developer.
• Strong mastery of RPG and ILE RPG.
• Proficiency in CL, DDS, IFS, SQL, and DB2.
• Proven experience integrating EDI processes, customers, and logistics partners.
• Solid background in system programming and structured programming methodologies.
• Ability to work in complex, mission-critical, high-availability environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12).
• Experience with ERP platform ISIS and 3PL/warehouse/distribution center processes.
