Description

You will administer and maintain the IBM Operational Decision Manager platform, ensuring high availability and performance for rule execution services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure IBM ODM (v8.10/8.11+) on WebSphere, Liberty, or Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Manage RuleApp deployments, versioning, and snapshots within Decision Center and Rule Execution Servers.
• Configure user authentication (LDAP/OIDC) and role-based access control for Business and Enterprise Consoles.
• Optimize rule execution performance and manage database schemas for Decision Center and RES.
• Develop automation scripts (Ant/Maven) and maintain monitoring via Dynatrace, Splunk, or Cloud Pak logging.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in Middleware or Platform Administration.
• 4+ years of dedicated experience with IBM ODM/WODM/ILOG.
• Expert knowledge of Rule Execution Server, Decision Center, and Decision Runner.
• Proficiency with WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database management (Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2).
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS, LDAP integration, and security hardening.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server.
• IBM ODM Cloud Pak for Business Automation certification.
