Description

Lead ETL development and data architecture efforts to migrate mainframe systems to modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL mappings and task flows in IDMC to move data across IMS, VSAM, Oracle, and SQL Server sources.
• Refactor database ETL scripts to migrate data from mainframe IMS databases to Oracle RDBMS.
• Build data pipelines in Snowflake using PL/SQL procedures with sources including Salesforce and SQL Server.
• Create data maps using PowerExchange (PWX) Navigator or similar Real Time CDC products.
• Design and implement data models for new projects while maintaining existing structures and promoting code through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
• Expertise in Informatica, specifically IDMC and Informatica DQ/Data Governance.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, and Salesforce.
• Experience with Snowflake and PL/SQL procedure development.
• Hands-on experience with PowerExchange (PWX) or Real Time CDC products.
• Ability to create ERDs and complex database design diagrams.
• Strong understanding of IMS database and VSAM structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
