Description

Own vulnerability remediation escalations and risk management controls for the consequence model. Ensure urgent issues reach senior leadership for timely resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage escalation of overdue vulnerabilities to senior leadership to drive urgent remediation.
• Execute risk management controls within the vulnerability consequence model and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with remediation owners and leadership to provide guidance on required actions and track deliverables to completion.
• Craft reports and communications that provide transparency into progress and problem areas.
• Maintain evidence and artifacts to support audit, control reviews, and quality assurance assessments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience or equivalent via work, training, military experience, or education.
• Proven experience in Risk Management and Vulnerability management.
• 2+ years of advanced Excel data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Jira and Agile methodology.
• Experience using SharePoint.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.

Preferred Skills

• Prior audit or risk management experience.
• Experience analyzing governance, policy, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Ability to influence within a matrixed environment and lead meetings to achieve results.
