Description

Extend static application security testing capabilities and lead technical investigations into security incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand enterprise Checkmarx configuration to improve testing effectiveness and coverage.
• Lead technical investigations of security incidents and perform post-incident digital forensics to identify root causes.
• Provide 3rd level support, best practices documentation, and troubleshooting for complex technology integration issues.
• Collaborate with development teams and Application Security Champions to resolve security issues.
• Drive vendor accountability to address product defects and support patching, upgrades, and business continuity testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of application security experience.
• 3+ years of Checkmarx or equivalent SAST tool experience, including custom rule development.
• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of scripting experience, preferably with Python.
• Experience with Agile and CI/CD technologies including Jira, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Ability to design, test, and maintain security solutions across networking, cloud, authentication, and endpoint security.
• Experience performing risk assessments and evaluating remediation alternatives.
