You will secure criminal justice agency infrastructure and ensure compliance with FBI CJIS and BCA CJDN security policies.
Responsibilities
Review network diagrams and access control lists (ACL) to ensure compliance with FBI CJIS and BCA CJDN security policies.
Audit identity and access management, PCI compliance, and driver's license system security, recommending remedial actions as needed.
Evaluate system architectures, vendor solutions, and equipment to assess data integrity and security.
Develop change management processes, access control procedures, and disaster recovery testing plans.
Build User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios to verify and document security requirements.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in a security architect or engineer role.
3+ years of experience in network engineering, including firewall management.
Proven track record of at least four security architecture or engineering engagements lasting longer than three months each within the last decade.
Experience designing and implementing information systems for organizations with 50+ employees, focusing on data, network, and infrastructure security.
CISSP or GIAC certification.
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
Broad knowledge of database systems, web-based technologies, and network security.
Strong understanding of IT governance, operations, and systems thinking.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
