Description

You will lead security efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats across the organization's infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze assets for potential security threats and design effective countermeasures.
• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols, policies, and systems.
• Coordinate security specialist teams to address emerging issues and risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and compile technical reports on security threats.
• Train staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.

Required Skills

• 15 years of experience in information technology security.
• 5 years of experience in information technology security threat hunting.
• 10 years of experience working with security tools including anti-virus and malware removal.
• 5 years of experience serving in an advisory capacity for IT security matters.
• Deep understanding of information technology security infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skills for leading work sessions.
• Ability to elicit system and user requirements to drive task prioritization.
• Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience with computer application security and secure coding.
• 3 years of information technology security experience within the public sector.
