Description

Own the design, implementation, documentation, and operational support of all corporate IT infrastructure systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage compute and storage infrastructure using Cisco UCS, VMware, Data Domain, EMC Unity, and Rubrik.
• Partner with vendors to design and support new infrastructure systems and applications.
• Manage patching and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the environment.
• Collaborate with database and application engineers to translate business requirements into system designs.
• Produce infrastructure health metrics and maintain detailed work instructions.

Required Skills

• 12-15 years of total IT experience, with 6+ years specifically in infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• 4+ years managing Microsoft Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2016).
• 4+ years managing Linux environments (Redhat/CentOS 6/7, SUSE 10/11/12).
• Experience administering VMware vSphere 5/6.
• Experience managing enterprise backup systems such as Veritas Netbackup, EMC Avamar, or Rubrik.
• Ability to write and modify scripts.
• Experience working within SOX and FDA regulated environments.
• Experience with desktop virtualization such as Citrix XenDesktop/XeNApp or VMware Horizon.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based identity and access management including Okta, OneLogin, or MS Azure AD.
• Background in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of GxP compliance.
