Description

You will own the design and operation of large-scale enterprise hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the hybrid target state, partitioning workloads between Azure, on-prem, and edge.
• Design connectivity and network patterns including VPN, ExpressRoute, private links, and transit architecture.
• Architect and manage hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) clusters supporting virtualization, SUSE Linux, and GPU workloads.
• Integrate infrastructure with CI/CD and DevOps tooling, enabling infrastructure as code deployment pipelines.
• Lead infrastructure governance, security posture, and compliance enforcement across cloud and on-prem via Azure Policy.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, operations, or architecture roles.
• At least 5 years leading hybrid/cloud + on-prem infrastructure, ideally in Azure ecosystems.
• Deep experience with Azure Arc to bring on-prem infrastructure under Azure control.
• Working knowledge of Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local for hyperconverged environments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
• Experience managing Kubernetes, including hybrid AKS and Arc-enabled Kubernetes.
• Strong experience managing NVIDIA H100/A100 GPU clusters, including CUDA and driver lifecycle.
• Familiarity with virtualization stacks such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Experience implementing zero trust design and segmentation across hybrid sites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SUSE Linux in hyperconverged environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for configuration management.
