You will own the strategy and execution of complex enterprise integration solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise integration patterns and decision frameworks, including API, EDI, event-driven, and file/SFTP methods.
• Architect end-to-end integrations spanning ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4), SaaS applications, and data platforms.
• Build, test, and deploy integrations using iPaaS platforms, creating reusable recipes and connectors.
• Design source-to-target data mappings and integration payload structures to ensure data quality for analytical systems.

Required Skills

• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in integration engineering, architecture, or iPaaS development.
• Substantial hands-on experience with Workato or an equivalent iPaaS platform (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, SnapLogic).
• Deep understanding of integration mechanisms: REST APIs, SOAP, event-driven architecture, EDI, and file-based methods.
• Proven experience integrating major Enterprise systems (SAP, Workday) with cloud-based SaaS applications.
• Ability to create professional integration diagrams, decision frameworks, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Solid foundational understanding of data flow design, payload modeling, and data quality principles.
• Experience with Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of industry EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and VAN/SFTP-based integration methodologies.
• Familiarity with Workato’s enterprise governance and lifecycle management features.
