Description

Own the design, delivery, and quality of customer-facing web applications and backend services. Lead a small engineering team to drive technical decisions and mentor engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for web applications and microservices, owning the technical roadmap and sprint execution.
• Develop and review front-end (React, Redux) and back-end (Spring Boot) code, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain REST/JSON and XML APIs, including integration patterns and versioning strategies.
• Drive database design and optimization using relational databases, writing complex queries and migration plans.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management while deploying services on AWS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with React and Redux for front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Deep understanding of REST/JSON and XML API design, integration patterns, and contract/versioning.
• Experience with relational database design, optimization, indexing, and migration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Proven ability to lead small engineering teams, mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence, and Postman/Swagger.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or realtime messaging.
• Familiarity with caching (Redis), search (Elasticsearch), and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP) and compliance (PCI/GDPR).
