Description

You will design and manage microservices-based integrations within cloud-agnostic environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based APIs using Node.js and Kafka.
• Implement scalable integration layers using cloud-native and cloud-agnostic patterns.
• Manage and secure API endpoints via Apigee API Gateway.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js in a microservices environment.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for real-time and asynchronous processing.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Apigee or similar API Gateway tools.
• Experience building cloud-agnostic solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and JWT authentication.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the telecommunications industry and familiarity with TM Forum standards and Open APIs.
• Experience with performance/log monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm), and Kafka Streams.
