Description

You will design, develop, and maintain components of the Apple Player SDK for iOS and tvOS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Apple Player SDK components for iOS and tvOS platforms.
• Optimize streaming performance to ensure low latency, high quality, and smooth playback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues regarding media streaming, buffering, and DRM.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in periodic on-call support for production issues.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in iOS application development.
• Expertise in Swift for building efficient iOS and tvOS applications.
• Deep knowledge of media streaming, low-latency playback, and DRM integration.
• Experience with Apple Player SDK and video playback optimization.
• Proficiency in Xcode, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging, unit testing, and integration testing skills.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs using streaming media technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance tuning for various Apple platforms.
