Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve Epic's native iOS app across iPhone and iPad, working in a mixed Swift and Objective-C codebase.
• Deliver core reading experience features, including the in-house book renderer and audio-text sync (narration aligned to word-level highlighting).
• Implement and maintain offline reading, in-app purchases, and App Store release workflows.
• Drive app performance, stability, and quality through profiling, testing, and iterative improvements.
• Partner with Android, backend, and web teams to ship shared features and keep product behavior consistent across platforms.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping native iOS apps to the App Store.
• Concurrency and thread-safety for iOS app development.
• Swift and UIKit experience, including comfort working across a mixed Swift and Objective-C codebase.
• iOS app lifecycle ownership, including local persistence and in-app purchase flows.
• App Store release pipeline ownership (CI, code signing, TestFlight/App Store) and practical testing experience.

Good to Have:

• SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency (async/await).

Education: B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), B.E., or MCA (Computer Science and Technology or equivalent)
