Description

Lead the development, improvement, and release of the iOS application.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Ship new features by translating wireframes into pixel-perfect views with smooth animations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to an agile Scrum environment.
• Provide mobile engineering support to the business and collaborate with product and design teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development and native mobile coding.
• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Apple SDKs, iOS services, and background processing methods.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Experience working with remote data via REST, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
• Skill in software debugging using debuggers, loggers, crash report tools, and Xcode Instruments for memory leak analysis.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, including testing Objective-C code for robustness.
• Proven track record of publishing at least one original iOS application.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Knowledge of backend systems, platforms, and Google Cloud Messaging.
