Description

You will manage intellectual property docketing, patent filings, and client communications to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process communications from the USPTO and foreign patent offices to update docket programs and document management systems.
• Calculate, review, and confirm deadlines for responses and monitor client dockets for all due dates.
• Prepare and file patent applications, Office Action responses, and Information Disclosure Statement submissions.
• Develop and document new procedures for daily workflows and client-specific best practices.
• Communicate with clients, global colleagues, and patent examiners regarding application status and routine matters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a patent docketing or paralegal role.
• 2+ years of experience working with Intellectual Property law and regulations.
• Proficiency using FoundationIP (IP Management Solution).
• Experience processing routine communications from the USPTO and foreign patent offices.
• Ability to prepare formal documents, shell response drafts, and filing cost estimates.
• Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
