Description

You will lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of large-scale IP networks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and lifecycle management of public and private IP routers and switches across multiple Tier 1 networks.
• Formulate 3-5 year strategies for network design, deployment, and capacity management to ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues including routing problems, fiber cuts, IP addressing conflicts, and power failures.
• Analyze local and wide area network systems to plan, design, and configure protocol suites and communication media.
• Act as team lead to prioritize projects, distribute assignments, and report on performance and production values.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS.
• Experience managing design, capacity, and single points of failure in large IP networks.
• Knowledge of network security protocols including VPNs, DDoS protection/avoidance, and firewall filters.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction to implement technical and business solutions.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Proven ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
