You will lead the architectural design and implementation for large-scale system modernization.
Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design and implementation replacing legacy Rail Transportation systems (Mainframe/TPF) with modern Java and Spring-based microservices in an event-driven architecture.
Define, document, and enforce architectural principles and standards for application design and integration across business domains.
Apply Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, BizBok, DMBok) to drive structure and coherence in the technology portfolio.
Provide architectural leadership within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to ensure technical designs enable agility and rapid delivery.
Act as the subject matter expert for architectural modeling, event-driven architecture patterns, and enterprise information management (EIM).
Required Skills
15+ years of experience in multiple IT areas, with 10+ years in technology architecture roles.
Extensive experience defining and implementing solutions for rail transportation companies.
5+ years of practicing knowledge and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Demonstrated knowledge of EA Frameworks including TOGAF, BizBok, and DMBok.
Broad experience transitioning from legacy systems (IBM Mainframe, TPF) to modern stacks (Java, Spring, Microservices).
Expertise in Java and Spring development.
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
