Description

You will lead the architectural design and implementation of large-scale system modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system modernization, replacing legacy Rail Transportation systems (Mainframe/TPF) with modern Java and Spring-based microservices in an event-driven architecture.
• Define, document, and enforce architectural principles and standards for application design and integration.
• Apply Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, BizBok, DMBok) to drive coherence across the technology portfolio.
• Provide architectural leadership within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to enable continuous integration and rapid delivery.
• Act as the subject matter expert for architectural modeling and event-driven architecture patterns to ensure scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple IT areas, with 10+ years in technology architecture roles.
• Extensive experience defining and implementing solutions for rail transportation companies.
• 5+ years practicing knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Demonstrated experience transitioning from IBM Mainframe/TPF to Java and Spring microservices.
• Expert knowledge of EA Frameworks including TOGAF, BizBok, and DMBok.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring, and Microservices architecture patterns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts.
