Description

You will assess IT controls, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance to ensure SOX audit readiness and operational integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Scope and assess risks for SOX audit planning and control design evaluation.
• Lead end-to-end SOX walk-throughs to verify system functionality and control effectiveness.
• Execute testing procedures for IT General Controls (ITGC), Automated Application Controls, Key Reports, SDLC, and Cybersecurity.
• Document audit objectives, procedures, results, and conclusions in detailed work papers.
• Update risk control matrices and maintain comprehensive audit documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT Audit, Public Accounting, or Internal Audit within a public company.
• Hands-on experience with SOX compliance and IT audit documentation standards.
• Strong knowledge of ITGC design and testing, including access management, change management, and IT operations.
• Experience with Automated Controls testing and Key Report testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, Cybersecurity frameworks, and SOC report analysis.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and COSO framework.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet strict audit objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AS/400 environments and legacy system auditing.
