You define high-level strategy, business cases, and formal requirements for complex application systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into solution requirements using UML, flow charts, and data models.
• Design complex systems and processes within highly complex policy and organizational environments.
• Develop high-level strategy and business cases for IT initiatives.
• Manage the development, implementation, and upgrading of complex application systems.
• Interact directly with key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an IT business analyst.
• Strong proficiency in UML, flow charts, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in process mapping and system design.
• Ability to work effectively in highly complex policy and organizational environments.
• Strong analytical skills for developing and maintaining complex application systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified in Business Analysis (CCBA).
• Experience working with university administrative offices (Academic Services, Finance, HR, Research Administration, Student Administration, Environmental Health & Safety).
