Description

Lead the technical migration of Epic systems to Microsoft Azure, bridging clinical IT requirements with cloud engineering architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kuiper-based stamp deployments and act as the technical liaison to Epic TS for infrastructure readiness.
• Oversee the migration and configuration of Epic modules (EpicCare, MyChart, Clarity, Caboodle) across non-production environments.
• Architect Azure infrastructure components including Landing Zones, VNets, NSGs, ASGs, and ExpressRoute.
• Execute SQL Server re-platforming from on-premises to Azure SQL MI or IaS and implement Azure IAM/RBAC and Azure AD integration.
• Drive technical cutover activities, migration testing, and post-migration tuning while coordinating HIPAA/HITRUST enforcement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Healthcare Systems.
• 5+ years of technical or engineering experience with Epic Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and compute.
• Deep knowledge of Kuiper, Clarity/Caboodle ETL, and Epic DR strategies.
• Expertise in SQL Server, IAM, RBAC, and ETL processes.
• Experience with stamp-based deployment models and Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Proficiency in Epic technical coordination (TS/TSR) and UserWeb resources.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMSS Flexible orchestration and high availability zone architecture.
