You architect and deliver enterprise-grade distributed systems for financial or energy trading contexts.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed systems in financial or energy trading environments.
• Develop UI and data-driven applications for trader- and risk-facing tools.
• Implement and manage electronic trading workflows using FIX 4.2 / 4.4.
• Leverage AWS services to host and manage distributed applications.
• Model and manage relational data using SQL principles across various databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years architecting and delivering enterprise-grade, distributed systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python.
• Domain expertise in commodities, energy trading, financial markets, or risk management (Front Office, Risk, P&L, Trade Capture, Market Data).
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, SageMaker, ECR, API Gateway, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS.
• Strong SQL and relational data modeling with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, or MySQL.
• Proven experience with FIX 4.2 / 4.4 in electronic trading environments.
• Experience with modern UI/data visualization frameworks suitable for trading.
