Design and build scalable applications for real-time event ingestion and processing while providing technical leadership to the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable applications for real-time ingestion and processing of various events.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to educate team members on streaming and event-driven applications.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Produce technical documentation for the Fraud team and other external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Strong programming experience in Java and C#.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Durable Functions using various protocols and triggers.
• Hands-on experience configuring Azure Event Hub, Event Grid, and related resources.
• Experience using Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with message-oriented middleware and streaming technologies including Kafka, MQ, or Azure Event Hub.
• Expertise in cloud NoSQL databases, specifically Azure Data Services or Cosmos DB.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the FeatureSpace ARIC Risk Hub platform.
• Experience working on fraud detection efforts within the financial industry.
