Description

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable network architectures across LAN, WAN, data center, and campus environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewall and switch appliances across multiple sites.
• Implement and optimize BGP routing (iBGP and eBGP peering) in large-scale environments.
• Lead network upgrade, migration, and refresh projects.
• Develop and enforce best practices for network security, high availability, and traffic engineering.
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex network incidents and drive documented improvements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet appliances (FortiGate, FortiSwitch) and ecosystem tools.
• Deep expertise in BGP routing, including route reflection, policy control, and prefix filtering.
• Proficiency with OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, MPLS, VLANs, STP, and EtherChannel.
• Solid knowledge of network redundancy, failover, and link aggregation.
• Experience with firewall rule design, NAT, and VPN implementation.
• Proficiency in network monitoring using SNMP, NetFlow, or syslog.
• Scripting or automation skills using Python or Ansible.
• Familiarity with AWS networking concepts.
