Description

You will manage end-to-end IT procurement and contracting processes using agile methodologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing projects, including RFx processes and vendor selection.
• Create solicitation documentation, evaluation plans, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to secure optimal terms.
• Collaborate with legal and risk teams to ensure regulatory and data security compliance.
• Manage project schedules and resources to ensure timely procurement task completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, contract management, and procurement.
• Experience managing RFPs, Dialogue RFPs, and pre-qualification processes.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, software, hardware markets, and IT Services agreements.
• Knowledge of Canadian contract law.
• Experience with 3rd-party solution providers and technology partners.
• Proficiency in project management and software development methodologies.
• Ability to develop financial estimates and business technical requirements.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.

Preferred Skills

• SCMP professional designation.
• Experience with Alberta Purchasing Connection or SAP Ariba.
• Experience procuring and contracting motor vehicle applications.
