Description

Manage large-scale IT and business transformation projects within public-sector or state-government environments, ensuring compliance with governance and procurement frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for complex IT system implementations.
• Manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business units while ensuring executive-level reporting.
• Execute risk management, issue tracking, and change control processes in alignment with organizational policies.
• Ensure compliance with state procurement frameworks such as FAST, DIR, or similar contracts.
• Monitor project progress and deliverables using structured methodologies to meet governance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale IT or business transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMI/PMBOK, Agile, and Hybrid.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
• Experience working in public-sector or state-government environments, preferably within public safety or law enforcement.
• Proven ability to manage projects under state procurement frameworks.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting.

• Experience managing data systems or enterprise applications.
• Background in public safety or law-enforcement agency projects.
