Description

Lead complex IT projects with multiple subprojects and teams of ten or more staff. Manage the full information systems development life cycle (SDLC) from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full SDLC from planning through implementation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop detailed project plans and maintain risk registers.
  • Translate technical concepts and SDLC processes for business stakeholders and non-technical program staff.
  • Identify and resolve project obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
  • Apply Waterfall and Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and timelines.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects within Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of the information systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project management tools and development implementation approaches.
  • Ability to manage large-scale software or data projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience managing State of Indiana large data, business intelligence, or software projects.
  • PMP certification.
