Description

You will lead IT technical projects from initial discovery and business case development through to final delivery and closure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive discovery and design phases to build comprehensive business cases and budget plans.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including resource mobilization, work assignment, and monitoring progress, risks, issues, and budgets.
• Design and enforce project governance, including the creation of project charters, plans, status reports, and steering committee presentations.
• Lead and coach project teams by defining roles, providing performance feedback, and identifying ways to improve team performance.
• Execute project closure by capturing lessons learned and verifying that business case assumptions and objectives were met.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing IT technical projects.
• Proficiency in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to coach others in project management practices.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience operating within a matrix organization with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
