Description

You lead the full lifecycle delivery of GIS and software integration projects for utility clients.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define project approaches by reviewing proposals to understand goals, scope, budget, risks, and constraints.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Direct project personnel, removing obstacles and managing scope of authority to keep work on schedule.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to management and clients, highlighting progress and risks.
• Coordinate efforts across finance, IT, and client staff to ensure project goal alignment.

Required Skills

• Seven or more years of experience in a project management capacity leading IT projects.
• Proven experience managing GIS system implementation and software integration projects.
• Experience delivering projects for external clients within the utility sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management standards, covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability in strategic planning, risk management, and conflict resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
