Description

You will own the end-to-end quality assurance process for software applications and embedded firmware, ensuring robust coverage across manual and automated testing lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and specifications to design executable unit, integration, and functional test cases for both application software and firmware.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts within existing frameworks to increase test coverage and reduce regression cycle time.
• Create and manage comprehensive verification test plans for new features and defect fixes, defining appropriate regression scope for each release cycle.
• Collaborate with development teams and product owners to identify testable requirements, ensure comprehensive coverage, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Generate QA metrics and status reports for stakeholders, while actively participating in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• Proven experience testing embedded software applications or firmware.
• Proficiency in Linux Command Line for environment setup and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with White-box Testing techniques.
• Experience with GIT for version control and ADO Tools for test management.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Smoke, and Regression Testing methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with serial communication protocols such as CANbus, Modbus, or MQTT.
