Description

You will lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise GIS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner in Citrix environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure engineers to deliver GIS applications.
  • Tune GIS system performance across application, database, and server layers.
  • Drive development of custom GIS solutions to support utility workflows.
  • Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements to GIS software and servers.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of GIS support/engineering experience, preferably in utilities (electric/gas/water).
  • Expertise in ESRI ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise) and Schneider Electric ArcFM.
  • Strong experience with LoadRunner or equivalent performance testing tools.
  • Performance tuning for GIS platforms and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in Python (ArcPy) for automation and testing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in Agile teams.
  • Experience supporting essential electric and gas utility operations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • Oracle/MySQL administration.
  • Stress testing software.
