Description

You will support the Managed Care Transformation by designing technical solutions for Medicaid operations and analyzing complex healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interfaces across internal and external Medicaid systems.
• Create and deliver reports and metrics using SAS Business Intelligence tools and the NC Analytics Data warehouse.
• Write SQL queries to analyze data and generate ad-hoc reports for business needs.
• Validate input files against data mapping artifacts, architect output datasets, and perform data quality assurance.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• 5+ years of experience developing SQL queries.
• 5+ years of experience with SAS programming (Base SAS 9.4, SAS Macro, SAS BI Suite, Data Integration Studio, or Enterprise Guide).
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing, including Claims, Provider, Eligibility, and Members.
• Proficiency with Oracle 11, MS SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
• Experience with XML, CSV, and TXT file types and layouts.
• Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements and developing business rules and process flows.
• Experience managing and working with multiple vendors.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
